Wellingborough Biomass Plant – Deconstruction Project Update
The Rotamac Wellingborough Deconstruction Project has completed the first major milestone – safe deconstruction, and transportation of the Fin Fan Cooler to our Bulgarian Client. The Vincere Project team conducted safe deconstruction, rigging and lifting operations in cold conditions yesterday ,and this morning, to safely achieve the first milestone 3 days ahead of schedule. The team have also deconstructed and loaded the main feedwater tank, and deaerator vessels for transportation as well.
Great teamwork, communications combined with strong and effective safe planning of work in the pre-construction phase, has led to the smooth execution of works this week.
Both the Rotamac and Bulgarian Clients are really pleased with progress, with the Rotamac Project Director Chris Baxter stating “Great teamwork again today by the team, really impressed with the level of safety and delivery performance for the Project – fantastic achievement by the Project in difficult weather conditions.
