Wellingborough Deconstruction
Wellingborough Biomass Plant – Deconstruction Project Update
The final big lift for the Wellingborough Deconstruction Project has been safely and successfully completed for the Client.
The 50te Tail End of the Boiler was safely lifted down to grade using the Projects crane partner TERRANOVA CRANE SALES LTD and the Projects Lifting AP John Costello, and Projects team Will Patterson – Grad IOSH, AIEMA, Jason Lenton and Dave Lavery CMIOSH, IQA, IMaPs, DipRSA for the safe execution.
This marks the Projects last major equipment milestone on the Project, and the team are now busy re-installing the roof sections, preparing the equipment for transportation, and ensuring the legislative documentation is ready for hand-over.
A big thank you to Ben Fellowes for completing all of the Structural Steel design calculations, Temporary Works design and Structural Commentary for the deconstruction. A big thank you to Trevor Cail for guiding and supporting us as the Principal Designer.
